Botulinum Toxin (Azzalure, Alluzience, Botox) is injected into the small muscles of facial expression to reduce wrinkles and soften them thus producing a more relaxed, and maybe more youthful appearance.

What areas are treated ?

Between the eyes (glabellar), in the forehead (frontal) and the sides of the eyes (crow’s feet).

The position of the injections can produce different results e.g. an arched brow lift can be achieved, or a lateral brow lift, depending on what sort of end result you would like.

Other areas that I treat using botulinum toxin include the ‘bunny lines’ of the nose, and much more advanced uses that I employ are in the undereye area, the upper lip to reduce smokers’ lines, the chin, the gummy smile and the jawline.

The Nefertiti lift on the jawline is carried out using toxin as well. Some people notice a wider face diameter caused by teeth clenching – this is due to overactivity in their Masseter muscle which I treat using botulinum toxin.
