Treatment of Thread Veins

Areas of thread venison the legs are treated remarkably successfully with very fine injections into the skin with an agent which blocks the minute veins, and goes on to close them for good. Thread veins are spider-like red/blue marks on the skin, commonly on the legs. They are often related to varicose veins. Dr John Buckmaster – Sclerotherapy Bournemouth can help you with this.

If you have these and would like to have them treated, a free consultation will quickly reveal whether they are easily treatable or not. If they are thought to be treatable, then the skin is cleansed, and the tiny veins are injected with a very small needle.

After the treatment, pressure is applied and a compression stocking is put on which needs to stay in place for 3 days. There are a number of do’s and don’ts after this treatment.

Usually 2 or 3 treatments are required, 4-6 weeks apart.
