Profhilo Bournemouth

Profhilo is a newer treatment offered by Dr John Buckmaster – Profhilo Bournemouth, for the finer wrinkles of aging which happen to us all to one degree or another, using a specially formulated hyaluronic acid in a very pure and highly active form. It is NOT a filler, although fillers contain a similar substance.

It works by bio-remodelling the skin and can be used in all areas of the body – notably the face, neck, décolletage, hands and knees and upper arms. The injected Profhilo is placed in 5 areas around the face or other area, and it flows naturally under the skin to cover the whole area and stimulates your body’s natural system of making connective tissues.

It requires 2 treatments separated by 4 weeks and this can be followed by a third treatment after another 4 weeks, if this is thought to be necessary depending on the extent of the aging process that has occurred. The ongoing maintenance is either a booster treatment every 3 months or another set of 2 treatments after 6 months.
